Jason Stanford, President

Jason Stanford, a “longtime political figure in Texas” and a Rising Star in Politics 2002, began working at the age of 14 as a sports writer for The Nugget, a weekly paper in Central Oregon. A Russian major at Lewis & Clark College, Jason moved to Moscow in 1992 to finish his degree and stayed for two years, editing an English-language expatriate magazine and working as a reporter in the Los Angeles Times bureau.

Jason moved to Texas in 1994 to work as a Deputy Press Secretary for the Ann Richards Committee. Jason and a former colleague founded Stanford Ryan Research & Communications, Inc. in January 1997. The firm became Stanford Research in 1999.

Several sources have featured Jason’s views on opposition research and modern campaigns, including “The Edge with Paula Zahn” on the Fox News Channel, the Texas News Network (TXN), the Christian Science Monitor, the Buffalo News, Campaigns & Elections magazine, the Austin American-Statesman, and “Bush’s Brain,” a best-selling biography of Karl Rove.

Jason belongs to the Capitol of Texas Rotary and the American Association of Political Consultants. He also sits on the Lewis & Clark College Board of Alumni and once belonged to the Board of Directors of the defunct 21st Century Democrats. Jason has taught seminars at three C&E campaign-training conventions.

Amy Everhart, Vice President

Amy Everhart, a Stanford Researcher since 1999, manages the firm's nationwide caucus research program and applies her expertise to projects for targeted congressional and statewide campaigns. Amy has developed a rare specialty in state legislative records, having served time in the House Majority Screening Committee in the Connecticut House of Representatives, as a legislative aide in the Maryland House of Representatives, and as an intern in the lobbying arm of the National Organization for Women in Connecticut.

Amy graduated from the University of Connecticut, where she made the Dean's List and the National Honor Society.

Rob Eberhardt

Rob Eberhardt is a national research analyst at Stanford Research, where he has done exemplary work on political campaigns and corporate research projects of national impact. Before coming to the company, he worked for a couple oil companies and a radio station.

Rob graduated with a B.A. in corporate communications from the University of Texas at Austin, where he made the Dean's List, was president of his fraternity and served on the Communication Council.
